IK Sävehof – IKS (Sweden)

Pioneers in the practice of handball in Sweden since its foundation in 1950, it is considered world’s larger handball club with more than 1.500 players in its more than 90 young teams of children from 9 to 19 years old, 16 school academies for the 7 and 8 years old and the 4 senior teams, all these managed by 200 coaches.

Committed with spreading handball into young people, during the year the club organize some international sports travel programs for its teams and helped implementing camps and competitions in 33 countries.

tournament “Partille Cup” that in its 2016 edition participated more than 20.000 players from 10 to 21 years old, coming from 1.060 clubs from 50 countries.

Its two main teams, male and female, participate in top European championships with the majority of its players coming from its handball academy.
