Founded as Assoiciation sportive des établissement aéronautiques de Toulouse (ASEAT) in 1964, rapidly moved up the hierarchy and reach top handball level in France becoming a reference thanks to the joining of some French players that were member of the team and played some international championships with French national team: Christophe Kempe, Daouda Karaboue i Jérôme Fernandez, and also its national coach, Claude Onesta.

Pioneers in the practice of handball in Sweden since its foundation in 1950, it is considered world’s larger handball club with more than 1.500 players in its more than 90 young teams of children from 9 to 19 years old, 16 school academies for the 7 and 8 years old and the 4 senior teams, all these managed by 200 coaches.

Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences – AUAS (the Netherlands)

Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, it is a reference in the development flexible study possibilities for elite athletes or athletes with especial requirements. In 1999, in cooperation with the renowned footballer Johan Cruyff, AUAS founded the Johan Cruyff University (JCU) with the specific ambition of supporting the education of elite athletes. Over the year a vast amount of athletes have successfully completed their education whilst simultaneously developing successful sporting careers. At the 2012 London Olympic games, 26 athletes came from the JCU.
